Capabilities

What we automate

Repetitive, error-prone tasks turned into reliable workflows.

  • Webhook and event triggers

Workflows fire the moment something happens: a form submission, a new order, a payment, an inbound message.

  • Scheduled jobs

Nightly syncs, weekly reports, recurring cleanups, all on a cron schedule with run history you can check.

  • AI steps in workflows

Claude and GPT models inside your flows: classify inbound email, summarise tickets, draft replies, extract data from documents.

  • Data sync between apps

Records moved between CRM, ERP, sheets, databases and SaaS tools, validated and deduplicated on the way.

  • Error handling and retries

Failed steps retry with backoff, escalate, and alert your team, instead of silently dropping the task.

  • Custom nodes and code

When a built-in node isn't enough, we write the logic in code: same workflow, no external glue services.

In practice

A closer look at how we automate

Workflows your team can actually read

Automation shouldn't be a black box only one developer understands. n8n workflows are visual: triggers, branches and actions laid out on a canvas your operations team can follow, question, and (after a handover session) adjust themselves.

  • Visual canvas: every step visible, nothing hidden in scripts
  • Naming and documentation conventions on every workflow
  • Handover session so your team can maintain flows

Self-hosted: your data, your costs under control

Cloud automation tools charge per task: costs that balloon exactly when automation succeeds. Your n8n instance runs on infrastructure you own: data never leaves your server, there are no per-task fees, and if we ever part ways the whole setup stays with you.

  • Runs on our UK & EU hosting or your own servers
  • No per-task fees: 100 or 100,000 runs cost the same
  • Kept updated, monitored, and backed up daily

Nothing fails silently

The difference between a demo and production automation is what happens when step three fails at 02:00. Every run is logged; failed steps retry with backoff; persistent failures alert your team with the exact payload that broke, so the fix takes minutes, not a morning of archaeology.

  • Full run history with per-step inputs and outputs
  • Retries with backoff, then alerts to your channel of choice
  • Error workflows: failures can trigger their own handling flows

Choosing a tool

n8n, Zapier/Make, or custom code?

Each has a place. This is how we decide it with you.

n8n (self-hosted)

Visual power without per-task fees

Best for: real business automation (high volume, branching logic, data privacy, AI steps).

  • Flat hosting cost regardless of run volume
  • Data stays on your server, GDPR-friendly
  • Custom code nodes when visual blocks run out
  • Needs hosting and upkeep, which is the part we handle

Zapier / Make

Fastest start, metered cost

Best for: light, low-volume automations a non-technical team sets up in an afternoon.

  • No hosting to think about
  • Huge app catalogue
  • Per-task pricing grows with success, so heavy flows get expensive
  • Your data flows through a third-party cloud

Custom code

Total control, developer-only

Best for: performance-critical pipelines and logic too complex for any visual tool.

  • No tool limits whatsoever
  • Fits into your existing codebase and CI
  • Every change needs a developer and a deployment
  • Run history and retries must be built by hand

Our default: n8n for orchestration, custom code nodes inside it where logic gets deep. One platform, no glue services.

How we work

From manual steps to reliable automation

  1. 01

    Map the process

    Week 1

We document the manual steps and decide what is worth automating first.

  2. 02

    Design the workflow

    Week 1–2

Triggers, branches, fallbacks and alerting defined before we build.

  3. 03

    Build and host

    Week 2–4

Built on a self-hosted n8n instance you fully own, tested with real data.

  4. 04

    Monitor and improve

    Ongoing

We watch run history, fix failures and tune flows over time.

Ways of working

Engagements that fit the job

Every automation is quoted per scope after a free discovery call. These are the shapes it can take.

Automation starter

Typical: 2–4 weeks

Your n8n instance set up properly, plus the first workflows that remove your most painful manual tasks.

  • Hardened, backed-up self-hosted instance
  • First workflows built and tested with real data
  • Alerting wired to your channel of choice

Automation retainer

Monthly

New workflows every month plus monitoring, updates and fixes for everything already running.

  • A workflow backlog we groom together
  • Instance updates and security patches included
  • Failure triage and flow tuning included

Setup & training

One-off, then yours

We install and harden the instance, build reference workflows, and train your team to build the rest.

  • Production-ready instance with backups
  • Reference workflows as living documentation
  • Hands-on training for your builders

n8n is self-hosted, so your data stays on your own server and there are no per-task fees: 100,000 runs cost the same as 100. It also supports custom code inside workflows when a visual node is not enough. For light, low-volume automations, Zapier is genuinely fine, and we'll say so.
