Some reference configurations do not specify a fixed storage allocation. Their drive count, capacity and redundancy layout must be agreed in the quote. A label such as configurable NVMe does not mean that unlimited storage or a particular drive set is included.

The reference catalogue lists London, Frankfurt and Gravelines according to the model. A listed region is a configuration reference rather than a current stock guarantee. Confirm the actual location, availability and any data-residency requirements before ordering.

Include your remote-console, root access and installation requirements in the request. Confirm the management interface, supported images, licence costs and network access arrangements for the chosen hardware. Compatibility with a particular Linux distribution, Windows edition or hypervisor should be checked before provisioning.

Agree who installs updates, monitors the system, responds to incidents and maintains backups. Renting hardware does not by itself define a managed application service. Set out any additional administration and recovery responsibilities in the proposal.

No. RAID can help protect against particular disk failures, depending on the configuration. It does not replace independent backups or protect against every deletion, corruption or security incident. Plan backup retention and testable restoration separately.
